Club Policy

 

CLUB POLICIES

We would like the gym to run as smoothly as possible for our members, so we have some rules that we would like you to abide by. We do reserve the right to terminate your Membership immediately if you do not abide by these Membership Rules. 

As a Member of the Gym you agree that you will:

  • It is mandatory that all must complete a physical activity readiness questionnaire before using the gym.

  • The Open Gym membership entitles you to full use of the gymnasium, group training is not included in the monthly fee.

  • Scan your Membership QR Code every time you enter Gym.

  • Do not share or allow others to use your membership code.

  • If a first-time gym user, you must attend an induction before using the gym (inductions can be booked at the reception desk). If you are a powerlifter on a day pass and are happy to proceed without an induction, then you must sign a waiver to agree to this.

  • Wipe down equipment after you have used it.

  • Not take bags onto the gym floor.

  • Not eat on the gym floor.

  • Not take photographs or videos on the premises or post remarks or imagery to the internet that could identify another Member.

  • Replace equipment back onto the racks after you have finished with it.

  • Not drop or throw weights down on the floor without control.

  • Belongings left in the changing area are left at the users own risk. Do not leave belongings on the premises when you leave. Management reserve the right to remove any belongings that have remained on the premises for over 7 days.

  • Wear suitable sports clothing and footwear when exercising (denim, bare feet, flip-flops, boots are unsuitable).

  • Use the gym facilities and equipment in a proper manner and not in a way that might cause harm to yourself or others (just ask a member of staff if you are unsure).

  • Not engage in any exercise activity that may be potentially harmful to you or others.

  • Not use, block or interfere with fire, emergency or disabled access doors or alarms (except in a genuine emergency).

  • Not behave in an aggressive, abusive, intimidating, anti-social or threatening manner or in a way that might cause distress to staff or Members.

  • Not conduct any paid Personal Training business with other Members.

  • Use any parking facilities provided in accordance with the rules that the parking provider posts and may change from time to time (if you get a parking ticket we are not responsible).

  • Put your litter in one of the bins we provide.

  • Not enter our premises whilst intoxicated.

  • Not engage in any type of criminal behaviour whilst on our premises.

  • Not cause misuse or cause damage to the premises.

  • Leave the premises before closing time or the end of a booked slot.

  • Not go behind the coffee bar.

  • Not go behind the reception desk

  • Not use the electrical points


RESERVATIONS

To ensure a smooth class check-in process, Group Training members must create a Raw Strength Member account and book your training sessions online. These must be reserved 14 days in advance.


RESERVATION CANCELLATION POLICY

Please cancel at least 12 hours in advance of your scheduled class time.


RESULTS DISCLAIMER

The members featured on this website worked extremely hard, committed to the program and basically did what we told them to do. Many people won't and so won't get the results like this. Don't fool yourself, be ready to work. Because achieving optimal health and fitness is not an exact science and the combination of exercise and input to achieve desire results may vary from individual to individual.

Finally, following any lifestyle, fitness, nutrition and general health tips or programs contained on this website/blog does not guarantee that you will achieve desire results or that you will look like images that might be posted on the Raw Strength Gym website/blog.


MEMBERSHIP & CANCELLATION OF MEMBERSHIP

The following terms apply to all types of membership with Raw Strength Gym Limited, our membership types are referred to subsequently as ‘Membership’:

Membership Contract Duration

Membership of Group Training is for a minimum of 3 calendar months or 12 calendar months. You are free to cancel after the minimum of 3 months if you have subscribed to a 3 month membership, and after a minimum of 8 months if you have subscribed to a 12 month membership, as per the Cancellation Policy below. Raw Strength Gym Limited does not operate longer contract periods, but reserves the right to do so in the future, in which case members will be given a choice and existing membership periods will still operate. If you purchase a membership, Raw Strength Gym Limited operate a 14-day cooling-off period, during which time you may cancel your membership provided no sessions have been used and/or no class bookings made.

Once a 3 month membership or 12 month membership lapses you move onto a monthly rolling contract, which will automatically renew unless you inform Raw Strength Gym Limited of your intent to cancel.

Cancellation Policy

Should you, the Client, wish to cancel your membership agreement, a letter or email of your intent should be sent to and received by Raw Strength Gym Limited. Emails may be sent to rawstrengthgym@gmail.com

The minimum notice period required for cancellation of membership is 30 days of your next renewal date – if we receive your cancellation notice closer than 30 days to your next rolling 1 month membership period, you will be required to pay for that next rolling 1 month membership period.

If a Direct Debit, Credit Card or Debit Card instruction is returned to Raw Strength Gym Limited as unpaid as a result of membership cancellation without prior notice, it may result in a late payment penalty being incurred by Raw Strength Gym Limited that will ultimately be passed on to you, the Client, and may involve a third-party debt management company if necessary.

Membership Discount

Any membership discount advertised or displayed needs to be validated and agreed by the management of Raw Strength Gym Limited.

Medical Freeze Policy

If you have an existing class package and an extenuating injury or medical condition arises that prevents you from attending, we are able to freeze your package, so long as you provide an appropriate doctor’s note indicating the length of time you are advised not to partake in intense physical activity.  To initiate the freeze, please email your request and attach your doctor’s note to sara@rawstrength.co.uk or speak to Sara in person.
 


WAIVER & RELEASE

By registering at Raw Strength Gym Ltd, you acknowledge that you have voluntarily chosen to participate in a program of intense physical exercise. You further acknowledge that Raw Strength Gym Ltd strongly recommends that you consult with your physician prior to training.  You acknowledge that you are fully informed of the strenuous nature of this exercise program and the possibility of adverse physiological occurrences including, but not limited to, abnormal blood pressure, fainting, heart attack or death. You assume all risk for your health and well being, and fully release Raw Strength Gym Ltd from all liability.


CAR PARKING

  • Users / visitors of the gym take full responsibility for their vehicle. Raw Strength Gym Limited accept no liability for damage or loss relating to car parking.

  • Vehicles are on site between the hours of 06:00 - 22:00 (05:50 -22:10 staff).

  • Members/visitors are to be considerate of neighbouring properties and keep noise levels to a minimum when entering and leaving the gym either by vehicle, foot or bike.

  • Gym members are encouraged to walk or cycle to the gym. We also encourage gym members to car share wherever possible, this helping reduces the traffic flow and vehicle emissions.
